Home to the Temple of the Forest Beneath the Clouds, one of the most beautiful 1800’s temple, it is an atmospheric altar that gives insight to that period. You will also discover Weaverville’s gold mining history with the swift Trinity river and original Chinese weaponry with a visit to the J.J. Jackson Memorial Museum. Weaverville is a new trip offered by the Roots California Excursions. It is a trip not to be missed!

Other stops on this 260 mile journey will include Red Bluff to visit the former residence and office of Calhoun Yuen, who was a third generation Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, site of the famous glass Sundial Bridge, and the Olive Pit for olive tasting.

This excursion is led by Darin Ow-Wing, the Director of Education and Engagement at the Chinese Culture Center.

Cost is $300 per person early bird special before midnight, May1. Price increases to $350 after May 1.
